Honorable Cámara de Representantes

It has the following special attributions:

1. To elect a Public Defender
2. To check and expire the treasure budget account submitted to the General  Comptroller.
3. To accuse before the Senate, in the case of constitutional motives, the President or whoever may replace him, the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal, the judges of the Supreme Court, the members of the Superior Judiciary Board, the judges of the State Council, and the Attorney General.
4. To hear about the accusations and complaints submitted before it by the Attorney General or by any individual against the said public officials and, if they comply with the requirements, an accusation is based before the Senate.
5. To request the assistance of other authorities in order to carry out investigations within their responsibilities, and designate facts finding when it is appropriated.
